For almost a decade, Hands On Steam has been on a mission to bring makers from all corners of the world together. Our team has had the opportunity to visit makerspaces, art studios, wood, textile, and metal manufacturers, as well as science and art museums.

Through our participation in hands-on activities, workshops, and behind-the-scenes tours, we've gained a unique perspective on the inner workings of these inspiring spaces. Since 2015, we have visited and have been sharing inspiring stories and highlighting the challenges, accomplishments, changes and growth of makerspaces.

We are excited to share our journey at Hands On Steam which will include our past 10 years of travel, as well as our latest travels and plans for our future destinations.
