The past few years we have been learning from a model that focuses on Mastery in Academics, Life Skills and Social Emotional Learning. By focusing on community service, academic excellence, career readiness, and youth outreach, we have learned how to equip our community with the tools they need to thrive. We hope you enjoy following our journey on making a difference in our communities as we invest in our future generations.

Hands On STEAM made a point to visit organizations that helped us gain invaluable insights se we can offer top-notch Hands-On Activities, guidance in learning and upskilling, fostering family & community involvement, by networking and collaborating with other creatives, schools & businesses. We participated and learned about competitions with goals that are motivating and exciting incentives. We are now better equipped and ready to share with you.

Hands on STEAM had the opportunity to explore multiple Makerspaces, art studios, businesses, schools and universities that provided the latest insights on STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math). These organizations foster a culture of learning and encourage accountability and teamwork by assigning specific roles and responsibilities to each participant. This approach contributes to a successful overall program.

We have gained more knowledge on our mission to empower the youth and their families to develop their creativity and cultural awareness through the arts. All of the makerspaces, art studios, STEAM schools, businesses, and other organizations has helped us to develop innovative programs that combine the visual arts, digital arts, performing arts, and applied arts with STEM. Our goal has always been to provide engaging and joyful activities that integrate art with Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math and thanks to the support of these organizations, we are now better equipped to help our community unleash their creativity and passion for learning.

Learning more ways to integrate the arts with STEM was just the beginning of our journey to improve. We also explored ways to combine physical education activities with our STEAM activities. Both physical education and STEAM emphasize "learning by doing," and there are numerous benefits that make STEAM an essential part of physical education. The powerful combination of STEAM and sports can lead to meaningful learning experiences that last a lifetime. Hands On STEAM now has more ways to offer STEAM with the use of sports.

We investing time to create more programs that encourage fitness, stress reduction, environmental appreciation, and social skills is crucial, as we believe that it should be a priority to enhance physical and mental well-being. That's why we've worked hard to establish connections with organizations, yoga instructors, medical and health professionals who have helped us develop effective programs for our youth. These programs not only improve their physical health but also provide them with the necessary tools to develop important life skills.

Hands On STEAM also had the privilege of connecting with various leading corporations and accomplished entrepreneurs who shared their invaluable experiences and knowledge, enlightening us on the hard work and dedication it takes to attain success.

Our programs will provide an array of activities that will help cultivate our learners' abilities to make sound decisions, solve problems, and think critically – all of which are crucial skills for thriving in any life circumstance.
